One of the greatest obstacles any of us can face on our journey inward is the constant interference we encounter in a noisy world. It's very difficult to escape the constant barrage of data we receive. At our best, we are able to filter the information, discarding the bits and pieces that fail to do us justice and listening to that which moves to exalt or empower us. At our worst we are drawn into the game, surrendering to a socially programmed hypnosis. Though the spirit touches every aspect of our lives, it is non intrusive - a still small voice. In those rare and treasured quiet moments we can hear its call loud and clear. In this serenity we will encounter its healing, transformational power. The still, small voice will rise up, echoing loudly off the canyon walls of each of our experiences. We need only listen. We need only be still, lying in the serenity of God's open arms.
